What Is Clinical Hypnosis?

Clinical hypnosis is an evidence-based method that uses focused attention and guided relaxation to access the subconscious mind — where habitual thought patterns, automatic responses, and deeply held beliefs are stored.


Unlike talk-based approaches that operate at the conscious level, clinical hypnosis works beneath conscious awareness to identify and shift the underlying patterns driving unwanted behaviors, stress responses, and cognitive limitations.

Please note: Clinical hypnosis is a structured, goal-oriented process focused on behavioral change, cognitive performance, and stress regulation. It does not diagnose, treat, or address medical or psychological conditions.

Salpi Garabetian

My path to clinical hypnosis was built on a decade of studying what drives human behavior — and what gets in the way of changing it.

I hold a Master of Science in Persuasive Communication from the world's #1 ranked Communication & Media Studies program, with a specialization in Health Interventions and Behavioral Change. Prior to establishing my practice, I spent ten years working with globally recognized technology and software companies, applying behavioral science at an organizational level.

Clinical hypnosis brought both streams together. As a Certified Clinical Hypnotist through the University of Toronto and a Registered Member of the Guild of Hypnotists, I work at the intersection of neuroscience, subconscious reprogramming, and evidence-based behavioral change. My approach is precise, structured, and entirely client-directed.
