A Calming Afternoon for Mothers

No one handed us a manual for motherhood. We were expected to work it out alone. We don't have to anymore.

Hi, I'm Salpi, a mother of three. Like many of us, I was thrown into motherhood without a village or a manual for taking care of myself.

We know how to care for our kids and everyone around us. Few of us were ever taught how to care for our own mind, body and emotions.

This science-based workshop helps us understand the nervous system in motherhood, experience what it is like to shift our state, and learn practical ways to return to calm in everyday life.

It is a judgment-free space, so come as you are. We are not here to fix anything, do more or achieve more. We are here to return to a calm our bodies and minds already know.

Wear your comfy clothes, bring a pillow and settle in with a warm cup of tea while we connect, experience and reflect.

With love,Salpi

What we will do together

11:00 to 11:20 AM

Connection

Over a warm cup of tea, we meet other moms. Co-regulation, the calming effect of safe company, helps the nervous system settle.

11:20 to 11:45 AM

The Nervous System

We start with how the nervous system works in motherhood and how it shapes the way we experience each day. We learn practical ways to regulate ourselves and return to baseline when we feel overwhelmed, overstimulated or reactive.

11:45 AM to 12:30 PM

Experience Calmness

We move through a guided, immersive nervous system practice that takes the body out of constant alert and into calm and safety. Through subconscious visualization, the mind and body reconnect with a calm state that is already within us.

12:30 to 1:00 PM

Reflect

We close with a short reflection, intention setting and connection.

Meet your host

Salpi Garabetian, MSc, CCH
Founder of Calm & Empowered

My work combines nervous system regulation, emotional intelligence and the patterns beneath our conscious reactions, to help mothers understand and shift how they feel and respond.

Through Calm & Empowered, I bring evidence informed tools together with the real, imperfect experience of raising three children myself.

Everything we need is already within us. We just need a little support to find it.
